Moving across the world...?? Don't be scared!

"You're going to Thailand?? In the jungle with monkeys?"
"Isn't it dangerous there?"
"Do you have a job lined up?"
"Have you ever been there?"
"Do you speak Thai?"
"Do you have a teaching degree?"
"How long will you be gone?"
"Do you like Thai food?"
"Isn't the weather way too hot?"

Hmmm.. I didn't have the answers to these questions (or the answer was no) but I decided to bypass all that and just GO! You learn as you go!

I ended up finding a job easily, buying a scooter, falling in love with the cuisine and the climate, learning some Thai, staying 18 months, and only got robbed once! And unexpectedly along the way, found the answers to a lot of life's questions.

  1. Thanks for sharing this post!!! I came across it via Language Corps, and I actually just submitted my application for LC this morning! I had a lot of the same questions/hesitations you listed above, but can't wait to do something new & exciting! I'm going to check out the rest of your posts about your experience, if that's ok! :)

  2. Hi,

I wrote an ebook called The Ultimate Guide to Living in Thailand that is available to sell via this link for affiliates. I was wondering if you might be willing to offer my ebook to your readers. Here is a link to the ebook: http://thailandebooks.net/moving-to-thailand-ebook/

It's a top selling ebook now on Amazon. If you will please offer this to your readers we pay 50% and conversions are quite good. SIGN UP HERE ( https://www.e-junkie.com/affiliates/?cl=230079&ev=60c40e38d1 )

We would also be happy to add a link in our ebook to your site as well. Many top Thailand sites like TasteofThai feature our ebook. Please, if you will let me know. Never hurts to make a few extra bucks from the blog as well. Or if you are too busy to join the affiliate program if we could provide a guest post that would be really appreciated.

Also, if your interested I am looking for someone to write a female perspective on Living in Thailand chapter which we'd link back to the contributors blog. Just an idea.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,
